AdwareReport.com, the world's leading independent antispyware testing site, has been has been publishing reviews on antispyware products since May, 2004. We were the first internet site to provide third-party testing of antispyware products and we continue to be the most thorough source of ongoing consumer research in the industry. Our reviews are provided free of charge and reach over 400,000 unique visitors each month.
We offer three services that will be of interest to antispyware vendors:
- Product Submission / Basic Testing Service
- Extended Testing Service
- Monthly Threat Research Service
Product Submission / Basic Testing Service
AdwareReport performs rigorous tests of many antispyware products each month. Vendors who purchase this service have their product benchmarked and reviewed. There is a nominal fee to cover testing and copywriting costs. To learn more about how to add your product to the list of the many spyware removers we cover, click here.
Extended Testing Services
While our Basic Testing Service is helpful for benchmarking the performance of your product against the competition, antispyware makers often desire further, more thorough testing for R&D purposes. Adware Report now provides vendors with extended testing in which we pit your product against a large number of common and emerging malware threats.
Testing is performed on a battery of servers each containing 30 or more threats. Upon completion of the spyware scanning cycle, each server is inventoried to determine the effectiveness of the tested product. Upon completion, the client receives a list of all threats that their product failed to remove.
Please note that due to the rigorous nature of this process, the test requires about 30 days to complete.

Monthly Threat Research Service
Over our nearly three years of providing independent testing to the antispyware industry, we have learned that the continued sales success of an antispyware product is strongly dependent on how well the product performs over time in the face of new, emerging threats.
However, few companies can find and afford an in-house research department large enough to stay abreast of the number of new malware programs released into the wild each month. Furthermore, the big spyware companies have pooled their resources in an effort to improve their own products beyond the capabilities of smaller competitors.
AdwareReport now provides a service designed to disseminate this information more widely and thus promote the overall effectiveness of all spyware removal products on the market.
Subscribers to this service receive regular updates of new malware threats that our team of spyware researchers identifies as they are released. Updates include both emerging threats as well as newly released versions of existing malware. Subscribers receive the following information:
* Name of threat
* Date or version # of threat
* Company name responsible for threat
* Installation instructions, including URL where the install file may be located
* Category: Spyware, Adware, Trojan, Keylogger
* Brief description of what the threat does
* Additional installation files (in .zip format) if the threat can not be easily downloaded online.
Pricing for this service is based on number of threats delivered each month and is substantially less expensive than the cost of hiring in-house researchers. Please contact us to receive a quote for this service.
